Wakestock 2011 Preview

Wakestock 2011 takes place on the weekend of 8th 9th 10th July 2011. Wakestock 2011 situated on the llyn peninsula in North Wales is the hosts of Europe largest wakeboarding competition, and a terrific line up of bands and dj`s. On July 8th 9th 10th a little village in Wales will become a sanctuary for music lovers and anyone who enjoys a bit of water sport excitement. Started as only a little party in a car park in 2000, the festival has grown enourmously and has been the host of great bands and dj`s. Previous acts that has graced the festival has been N-Dubz, Maximo Park, The Ting Tings, Pete Tong, Calvin Harris, Dizzee Rascal, Mark Ronson and the Streets to name only a few. Previous years the festival site holds one open air stage, and two marquees. Tickets are on sale now, Prices range from £125 for weekend camping ticket, £100 weekend ticket and £45 for any day ticket. Line up for this year’s festival is Biffy Clyro, The Wombats, Ellie Goulding, Chase&Status, The Cribs, Example, Kelis, The Noisettes, Zaine Lowe, Little Comets and many more.
