Together Winter Music Festival warms up London
Together Winter Music Festival is coming, Instead of burying yourself on a sofa under a blanket this November, with precisely one month until Christmas, winter music veterans Together are putting on a party of epic proportions. Not one, but two days of house, dance, drum & bass, dubstep will be gracing the hallowed halls of Alexandra Palace on 25th and 26th November 2011. Winter blues? Winter who?
Selling out arenas, festivals and clubs the world over, headliners Eric Prydz, John Digweed, Pete Tong and Chase and Status are used to ravers bowing down to their decks, none more so than at the Together Winter Music Festival 2011. A handpicked selection of top artists, DJs and producers that represent electronic music will collide in a clash of beats, bass and breaks across the seminal two day festival this November.
Tickets to Friday’s UKF Bass Culture have already sold out and with top names in the UK drum & bass, beats and breaks scene; Nero, Skrillex, Chase and Status, MistaJam, Camo & Krooked, Joker and Friction on the bill, we’re not surprised!
Live acts will follow on the Friday from Modestep, Ms Dynamite and DJ Fresh along with arenas hosted by record label Union, including Shy FX and Breakage, and Drum & Bass Arena vs Get Darker.
On the Saturday Eric Prydz hits down to Ally Pally’s Great Hall as EPIC (Eric Prydz In Concert), along with Pete Tong, who after an action-packed 2011 celebrating the twentieth anniversary of his Radio 1 show and stints in Ibiza and beyond, will have the crowd moving to his usual mix of hear-stopping house, dance and electro.
Also heading up the bill on Saturday is John Digweed, Sander van Doorn and electro pioneers Simian Mobile Disco. Over in the West Hall Fake Blood, Vitalic, Fenech Soler and Death in Vegas will be keeping the crowd entertained as will French DJ Sebastian as part of the famous Ed Banger label.
Looking set to surpass last year’s top-notch events, both day one and day two of Together’s Winter Music Festival 2011 give electronic music lovers just what they want from a night out this November. After a sell out party for New Year’s Eve 2010 at London’s Brixton Academy and a series of parties running through the whole of last year, Together certainly know how to put a line-up, well…, together.
