So to mark the release of their brand new album ‘In The Belly Of The Brazen Bull‘ which is out now on Wichita, The Cribs recently hosted a unique fan event in London. On a very wet and windy day at Shepherd’s Bush Market, a special billboard poster featuring the album art, devised by friends of the band Nick Scott, and finished with a specially made 1 foot deep border of real flowers mirroring the flower design in the artwork was assembled in in the Market. Throughout the day fans stopped by to help place flowers on the billboard and be part of the build. The whole event was captured on camera and the film is now available on YouTube.
In addition to this video footage, a selection of photos from the day can be found on the band’s Facebook page here: The cribs
‘In The Belly Of The Brazen Bull‘ marks a return to The Cribs’ classic three-piece status. The full album is now streaming on Spotify and since the launch of Spotify’s ‘Play Button’ function, it’s available to be embedded as a player on any site.
