Rugby has become the new rock n roll

Has Rugby become the new rock n roll, in the 1990s the England football team were notorious for their off the field antics, what with the famous dentist chair episode before Euro 1996. England went on a pre season tour and visited a club where you sat in a dentist chair having alcohol thrown down your throat. When Gazza scored a goal he did the infamous dentist chair celebration.

The days however of wild antics has reduced following the more “professional” setup in English Football, in the premiership era, with more overseas coaches and players.

However whilst England Football teams now seem to be behaving themselves it seems the Rugby Team are not, with a catalogue of drink fuelled antics during the recent Rugby World Cup has lead to the England Rugby team appearing on the back pages of the papers for all the wrong reasons. Headlines such as playing dwarf bowling. The England Captain getting up and close to an ex girlfriend, having recently married into royalty, and England players diving off Ferries. It does seems the roles have reversed.

What are they like on the field? well the six nations starts next week and England Rugby Tickets are still available so you can see for yourself.
