OCEAN COLOUR SCENE TO PLAY AT SHREWSBURY FIELDS FOREVER 2012
Ocean Colour Scene singer Simon Fowler and drummer Oscar Harrison will be entertaining crowds this September. Playing an acoustic set to around 10,000 fans Fowler and Harrison will join The Wombats, Ms Dynamite Utah Saints, and the incredible Sunshine Underground.
Ocean Colour Scene formed in 1989 and have had five top ten albums along with six top ten singles. Their biggest album by far was Moseley Shoals which was released in 1995 and included hits such as The Riverboat Song and The Day We Caught the Train. Reaching number two in the UK charts it catapulted them into the BritPop scene.
Having played alongside legends like Weller and Oasis, they are sure to go down a storm with the eager crowd, and being one of my “bands to see” I cannot wait to see them live in my hometown!
