More confirmed for V-Festival 2011
Lostprophets, The Wanted, Good Charlotte and Dionne Bromfield have been added to the V Festival line-up.
Other new acts to confirm are Kids in Glass House and Noisettes. These latest acts will be added to the already growing V-Festival line-up which takes place on 20th and 21st August 2011 in Staffordshire and Chelmsford Essex.
Mike Lewis from Lostprophets said “When we played V back in ’08 it was like a huge party, Both days had such an amazing atmosphere, we couldn’t wait to come back and play again.”
The six bands names above will be joining the likes of Rihanna, Enimen and the Artic Monkeys, a weekend truly not to be missed in the festival world.
V-Festival started back in 1996 due to idea from Joe Cocker front man of Pulp. Joe said “he would love to play two outdoor venues in two days” since then the V-Festival sponsored by Virgin Media has been a huge success seeing headliners such as Pulp, Blur, The Verve, Manic Street Preachers, Travis, Texas, Stereophonics, Coldplay and many more.
