Mike Skinner to pen the soundtrack for The Inbetweeners Movie

It has been “confirmed” by several red tops that Mike Skinner (of The Streets fame) was the film bosses first choice to write the soundtrack for the long awaited movie adaption of the hit sitcom.
A source told The Sun that: ‘Mike is the perfect fit. All the material he is writing for the film is new. He is really excited about the whole thing.’
It seems that this offer could not have come at a better time for the singer, who recently announced that he will be retiring The Streets at the end of this current tour in support of new album “Computers and Blues.”
The Inbetweeners film will revolve around a lads’ holiday to Malia, Crete as the boys finish their A-Levels and celebrate going to university. Although no tracks have been confirmed, expect plenty of laddish “Fit But You Know It” esque ditties about pulling girls, drinking too much and waking up on the beach the next day.
