Main Support Confirmed for Take That Tour

Pet Shop Boys have confirmed they will be the main support for the record breaking Take That Tour, this summer.

It has been reported that the band Take That, have  been admirers of the Pet Shop boys for a long time.

The dance duo Neil Tennant and Chris Lowe are due to join the reformed boy band in Sunderland on the 27th May, and said to be “looking forward” to the tour. The duo will perform highlights from their own pandemonium show when they join the tour.

Gary Barlow said “Pet Shop Boys was the first CD I ever bought”

“I followed their whole career and always loved their unique approach to records and live performances”

“That combined with two lovely people means we’re in for a great tour”

The tour has sold a total of 1.34 million tickets, and is the biggest ever UK tour. This is the first time since Take That have toured as a band of five since 1995.

The Pet Shop Boys have sold over 50 million records, been given the outstanding contribution to music award in 2009, and just unveiled their first ballet, The Most Incredible Thing.

Love them or Hate them, you have to admit it looks like the Take That Tour 2011 is set to be their best ever.
