Lady Gaga speaks about Amy Winehouse

Pop sensation Lady Gaga has spoken out about the tragic death of Amy Winehouse.
Gaga, 25, revealed she used to have black hair reminiscent of the ‘Rehab’ hitmaker’s trademark beehive style, and would get mistaken for her around the time her album, ‘Back to Black’, exploded in 2006 -she said: “I was nobody when she was first coming out. I had really dark hair and all the time on the street people would go, ‘Amy!’ And they would go, ”Back to Black.” They’d scream at me”. “I loved her and I just remember feeling like I wasn’t alone because she was so different and she was so special.”

The ‘Judas’ singer spoke of her respect for the 27 year old singer- who passed away at her home in north London on Saturday (23rd July 11), She said : “It’s really devastating and I think it’s a lesson to the world – don’t kill the superstar. Take care of her. Take care of her soul.” Gaga also paid tribute to the talented singer songwriter posting on her twitter page “she
changed pop music forever”.
Amy was cremated yesterday (26th July 11) in a private Jewish ceremony in London attended by her family and close friends. Her parents Mitch and Janis, brother Alex, boyfriend Reg Traviss and many close friends such as Kelly Osbourne, godchild Dionne Bromfield and producer Mark Ronson who worked with her on the multi platinum “Back to Black album. The service comes after police revealed they will have to wait up to four weeks for the results of toxicology tests to establish her cause of death. A post mortem examination carried out yesterday was inconclusive and an inquest has been opened an adjourned until October 26th.
