Killer Kitsch: Buff club hosts party to celebrate success.

Killer Kitsch DJ Euan Neilson hosted a private party at Glasgow’s Buff Club to toast the success of the venue’s most influential club night in its history.
The event took place in the newly revamped Buff Low Cafe, with 1920s old fashioned decor. The cafe, now open seven days a week till late, hosting local jazz and blues musicians, was the ideal location for the celebration of Killer Kitsch.
Neilson has worked hard over the years competing with other venues across the city for a quality electronic clubbing experience at great value. But the price of success is not cheap and inviting regular faces and old friends, who have helped keep the core of the night alive, was just a small token and an opportunity for him to say thanks.
“Tonight is all about bringing everyone together who have supported us in some way; it was an opportunity to give a little back, say thank you and provide a few free drinks” said Neilson.
Neilson knows how difficult it is to hold on to a crowd in today’s music scene and tries to keep things fresh and up to date by bringing in guest DJ’s when possible. The club night Killer Kitsch has played host to many popular names in recent years. One which stood out for Neilson was DJ Flosstradamus and with the supposed end of the world approaching, this was the right time to play.
“The past year has been great, we have had loads of brilliant acts and DJs play here-but personally, last week, Flosstradamus was the best. If you know your music we have Cyril Hahn coming and R L Grime too”.
Killer Kitsch will continue to be a hub for music lovers of all things electronic in the future and Neilson will continue to bring the best mixes and DJs to his ever popular midweek club night.
“Music has changed, people and trends have changed-the club has always been about what is happening in the world of electronic music and while that has changed we have tried to ride along with it” added Neilson.
