INTERVIEW AND FOOTAGE FROM DIZZEE RASCAL’S MALLORCA LIVE SET!

Week 8 rolls around at Ibiza and Mallorca Live and what better way to see it in with footage of Dizzee Rascal’s rip-roaring sets from BCM and Eden last week? The British hip-hop superstar sat down with Andi Durrant after his Mallorca set to talk about his website DirteeTV.com, the great vibe & connection he had with crowd and what’s coming up for him in the future.

1.       How’s it going Dude?

It was live out there man, people jumping up and down, sweat dripping from the ceiling, CO2, it was crazy it was mad.

2.       So how does that compare when you playing one of these huge stages at one of these festival anywhere around the world, because this is intimate right?, still massively busy, there’s people everywhere, their right in your face, their right there, you can touch them, you can hold them, they can interact.

That’s what I like about it, as soon as I walked on the stage people where right there, so straight away you get that love from people right at the front, yeah we just feel of each other.

3.       You have been in the game for a while; do you ever get nervous about this when you walk on stage? Because there is a bit of a difference when you’ve got a sea of people, and there’s just nothing there, no eyes looking at you, when you can feel them and touch them.

Its better man, because you just make that connection straight away. From when you’ve got the connection there’s just love from there. The vibe is the same as a big festival now, I see mosh kids, lunatic jumping around, it’s wicked it just feels the same but closer.

 4.       Tell us what’s going on in your world right now? What’s happening music wise, TV wise?

I’ve got my internet channel DirtyTV.com; it’s got a lot of fun content on there. My record label as well, I’ve got an artist called Pepper working on her album, as well as my album as well.
