Eyes On Film prepare for a one of show with Carl Barat

London based four-piece EYES ON FILM have announced a one off show at London’s Proud Galleries in Camden on Thursday 16th August as part of the Bad Sex club night. The band will be joined onstage by THE LIBERTINES guitarist/frontman Carl Barat on second guitar.

Their indie rock music has a really energy, and a voice that draws you in, making you want more. This band is set for good things, and all we can say is try your hardest to get to see these guys on the 16th, because we think they are worth every penny.

EYES ON FILM are currently recording the follow up EP to their debut ‘Something Wicked’ (This Way Comes) and have enlisted the help of long-term friend Carl Barat for the foreseeable future. Barat will inevitably add to the scuzzy, filthy electro rock sound the band have honed and made their own, giving it a truly commercial, 21st century edge.

EYES ON FILM take the complex and make it sound simple; their songs capture the distorted thrill of garage rock and smash it together with the incessant jackhammer of dirty electronics; it’s a thrilling combination when done right and they are the first band to get the balance perfect for a long time.
