Dolly Parton announces new album called Better Day

The queen of country music has announced she is to release a new album called “Better Day”. The new album will be released in the summer and will be her 4th on her own Dolly Records Label. To coincide with the album release dolly is also going on a World Tour, which will see her play concerts in the US, UK Europe and Australia. The Dolly Parton Better Day tour will start in Knoxvill on July 17th 2011 at the Thompson Boling Arena which is near her home town of Sevierville, Tenn.
Dolly has spoken about the tour and album saying

“I wanted to do an album that would be very uplifting and positive, as well as inspirational,”

Dolly continued saying

“Times are hard all over. I think people need to feel better and I thought ‘Better Day’ was a perfect title because it says ‘hope.'”

Dolly Parton has won 7 Grammy awards and she will sing her new single from the album “Together You and I” when she appears on the The Ellen DeGeneres Show” The new single is out now to buy.
