Bombay Bicycle Club announce UK Tour and New Album
Thrilling fans with last week’s announcement of their impending third album, Crouch End’s brightest talents Bombay Bicycle Club are marking their return with their biggest tour yet.
Propelled to fame by the lush instrumentation of their 2010 acoustic album “Flaws”, which narrowly missed out on an Ivor Novello award, Jack, Jamie, Suren and Ed are plugging their guitars firmly back in for their third effort, “A Different Kind Of Fix”, which will be out August 29th.
Recorded in Hamburg, London and Atlanta, ‘A Different Kind of Fix’ reunites Bombay Bicycle Club with Jim Abbiss, who produced their debut album “I Had the Blues but I Shook Them Loose” as well as Arctic Monkeys debut. Marking his precocious talent, the album is co-produced by vocalist and multi-instrumentalist Jack Steadman throughout.
The album is preceded by new single, ‘Shuffle’, which will be released on August 22nd and premiered on Zane Lowe’s Radio 1 show on June 22nd as his Hottest Record.
