Arctic Monkeys new single The Hellcat Spangled Shalalala

The Sheffield four piece have announced that the second single to be released from their forth consecutive number one album “Suck it and See” will be “The Hellcat Spangled Shalalala”.
July is proving to be a very busy month for Alex and the boys-having already performed at the Roundhouse as part of this year’s iTunes Festival. Tomorrow, (8th July) they are headlining T in the Park, and on Saturday 16th July they will be at FIB (Benicassiam) in Spain.
After all that, you think they would have a quiet month in August? But, no, August 15th is the release date for the new single “The Hellcat Spangled Shalalala”.
The Arctic Monkeys have also announced that during their UK Arena tour in October/November they will be joined by The Vaccines and Smith Westerns. Following phenomenal ticket sales a 2nd night at London’s O2 has been added.
After taking a year away from the public eye to record “Suck it and See”, 2011 sees Alex Turner, Nick O’Malley, Jamie Cook and Matt Helders back with an almighty bang!
