JLS are planning to release a 3D Movie

JLS are hoping to step in the same footsteps as Take That, Justin Bieber and Hannah Montana, by releasing a 3D Movie concert in cinemas across the UK on Friday 3rd June 2011, with Tickets going on sale from Friday 1st April 2011.

The former X factor boy band filmed their Eyes Wide Open concert at London O2 arena sometime in January, and it is said to have “never been before”  back stage footage and interviews.

Marvin Humes, from the band said: “It’s another JLS first. Making a movie has always been on our wish list and now we’ve accomplished that goal.”

JLS are known for doing side projects, only last year they worked alongside Durex to help promote safe sex, by producing a condom called Just Love Safe packs of condoms, so it is not unusual that the boys want to further their career by making this movie. The boys already have a clothing range and are set to tour again in June.

Marvin also added “We want our fans to see another side to us, a more intimate side, proper fly on the wall camera stuff.” so looks like fans could be in for a treat.

JLS second album, Outta This World, has sold more than half a million copies since it was released last autumn. The boys have already started work on their third album, so it looks like 2011 is going to be good for not only JLS but the fan too.
