Global Gathering add Nero to line up

With just under 60 days to go, festival fever is well and truly upon us in the lead up to GlobalGathering. Based at Long Marston Airfield, Stratford-Upon-Avon, tension has been mounting as the official line-ups for Friday and Saturday are announced to thousands of eager fans counting down the days until party-time.

Check out the full line-ups by day here.

With news just out that Saturday General Admission and VIP tickets are now on sale for £62.50 upwards, you can soak up the atmosphere at one of the greatest dance festivals in the UK, even if you can’t make the whole weekend. With a packed DJ line-up over 14 arenas plus new additions to the line-up still to be announced, it’s well worth the bargain price!

Following on from their explosive performance at this year’s Radio 1 Big Weekend and with sets at Glastonbury to look forward to, pioneering dubstep producers Nero will be delivering a bass-fuelled sound and visual set to the GlobalGathering crowd. Playing the Metropolis Arena Nero will be mixing stunning vocals and club bangers to keep the crowd raving. The duo fresh from their latest US tour will be bringing extravagantly bass pumped remixes of the likes of N.E.R.D, Drake and Beyonce to GlobalGathering crowd. We can’t wait!

Added to the Wax:On Arena on Friday are four-piece Modestep, whose live dubstep tracks are sure to have the crowd skanking out. Performing their recent release ‘Feels Good’, the quartet hailing from London may be playing GlobalGathering for the first time, but expect big things from these guys as definite ones to watch.

Keep your eyes peeled here for previews of each of the 14 different arenas as GlobalGathering confirms itself as the mother of all dance festivals for Summer 2011.
