Rockness 2011 takes place in the village of Dores, close to Inverness in the Scottish Highlands takes place on 10th -12th June 2011. Planning too many festivals this summer? We have a plan to keep you in the good books! Pack the car and take the stunning drive up the A9, explaining to your other half that you are whisking them away to the Scottish Highlands and that you have a romantic campsite in mind! One that’s near a small farm, in the fantastically set village of Dores, near Inverness. One of the world’s most amazing sites for a festival!

Rockness 2011 Line Up
For the Friday night it’s the mighty Kasabian who grace the shore for the first time. Alongside acts such as Two Door Cinema Club, Erol Alkan, Mark Ronson(DJ Set), Grove Armada Presents Red Light, DJ Shadow, Katy B, just to name a few.
Saturday includes The Chemical Brothers mixing it up along with The Cribs, Example, Sons and Daughters, Radio 1’s Annie Mac, Magnetic Man, Laidback Luke and Liverpool new boys Sound of Guns.
Sunday see’s Scotlands own son……….No, not William Wallace! But their very own Paolo Nutini headlining the Main Stage with Scottish trendsetters Glasvegas warming up before hand. Sunday also see’s acts such as The Wombats and We Are Scientist’s appearing on the banks for the first time, and If you’re still searching for your Sunday dance class then look no further than Boys Noize, Simian Mobile Disco and Lissie to complete your weekend fix.
RockNess also offers the chance to go and chill with some of the UK’s best stand up comedians. Across all 3 days, there are acts set to make you laugh all the way back to the portaloo!
