Take That release a new song ‘Love Love’ for the latest X-Men Film

Take That are releasing a brand new song which is to featured on the latest X-Men Soundtrack.

The new single ‘Love Love’ is due to be released for download on 11th May with 30 seconds of the track available to listen to on the group’s website. The single will appear on the X-Men first class movie which tells the story of a mutant before it reveals itself to the world.

It was reported by The Sun that Gary Barlow played the song ‘Love Love’ to director Matthew Vaughn after dinner one night. Vaughn is the British director behind films like Kick-Ass, Harry Brown, Snatch and Lock, Stock and Two Smoking Barrels.

A source said: “Matthew invited Gary over to his house and asked him to bring some tracks he thought were suitable for the film. He instantly took a liking to Love Love and felt it summed up the tone of the movie.”

The source continued: “Gary was chuffed as it means a global audience will hear the record.”

Take That begin their record-breaking Progress Live 2011 tour on 27 May in Sunderland. It’s the biggest ever UK tour and the first time the original five members of Take That have gone out on the road together since 1995.

Looks like it will be a busy year for Take That as MTV have just announced that Gary Barlow will also be stepping in to Simon Cowells shoes as his replacement on the UK X Factor.
