A.W.O.LNATION hits the road in 2013

Hot on the heels of some amazing shows around the country with Billy Talent and an appearance at the first UK Warped date in 13 years, AWOLNATION have announced their own tour for February 2013. The band will play their biggest headline show here on 15th February  2013 at Heaven in London.

AWOLNATION have been touring constantly since their release of their debut album ‘Megalithic Symphony’. The album has sold over a quarter of a million copies in the US and their videos have had an incredible 80 million + views.

This american electronic rock band began when Red Bull Records approach frontman Aaron Bruno back in 2009, and since then he hasn’t looked back. 2011 saw the band release their debut album Megalithic Symphony which went platinum in the states and double platinum in Canada.   The name Awolnation is came from Aaron Bruno’s high school nickname. In an interview with Kristin Houser of the LA Music Blog, he stated that he “would leave without saying goodbye because it was just easier, so that’s where the name AWOL came from.”

The band round off an amazing year with a date in Goa on the 29th December then after a quick break start a European tour mid-January in Finland which takes them up to these shows.

To coincide with the tour AWOLNATION announce the release of ‘Kill Your Heroes’ on February 25th   2013.   The track is currently the band’s third single to go top ten at US alternative radio (making them join an elite crew of artists who have achieve this feat – these being Mumford  And Sons, Cage The Elephant, The Killers and Foster The People).   The band have continued their tradition of making sensational videos and the latest for this release.


AWOLNATION will be supported on the tour by Itch, the ex-frontman of The King Blues.
