Rockness Line Up 2012 Announced Biffy Clyro headline
Scotland’s Rockness Festival have announced their 2012 line up. The music festival takes place on the weekend of Friday 08 June 2012 to Sunday 10 June 2012 at Dores Inverness, along the world famous Loch Ness.
The Rockness 2012 line up includes Scottish Rockers Biffy Clyro. Also Brit Nominated Ed Sheeran will be performing as well as Mumford and Sons. Other acts for the Scottish Highlands based festival include.
Electro star Deadmau5 and dance music act Justice.
Ed Sheeran has had an amazing breaktrhough year, with a best male nomination at next months Brits as well as Best Single and Best Album.
Biffy Clyro return to Rockness for the first time since 2009 and this year they will be headlining.
Biffy Clyro are made up of Simon Neil, Ben Johnston and James Johnston and they are excited to be playing their homeland festival.
The band said
We are thrilled to be returning to RockNess in June, and this time we’ll be headlining.
I’m so happy with the list of acts we’re announcing today that I now just can’t wait for the first tent peg in the ground and for the party to start”
Jim King who is the Festival director of Rock Ness glowed at the new line up
“The location is amazing and the enthusiastic crowd made for a memorable experience in 2009, so we’re counting down the days until our return in 2012.”
The Rock Ness Line Up so far is completed with Metronomy, Noah and the Whale, Wretch 32 and Totally Enormous Extinct Dinosaurs
More Bands will be added in the next few weeks. Jim King said
