Lack of sleep is the cause of Rapper Rick Ross flight seizure.

Rapper Rick Ross has said his recent seizures were due to a lack of sleep.

Rick Ross Gave his first interview to US Show 106 and park, since his incident on 14th October 2011, saying he hadn’t slept for eight hours a night in five years and that doctors had told him he needs to rest.

“I would get two hours of sleep and keep moving – me being a hustler,” he said.

“It was a case of me not getting enough sleep, not getting enough rest,” said Ross about the mid flight incidents.

However his lack of sleep caused Rick Ross aged 35 to have two seizures while on a flight to a gig.

Meanwhile Rick’s record company Maybach Music Group, said his previous lifestyle “has to stop” and that Rick Ross is now taking time out with his family, even though it has been reported that he has gone against doctors orders and recently collaborated with Jay-Z.

This isn’t the first time  rapper Rick Ross  plane has had to divert due to illness only last month the rappers plane has to return back to Florida after he became ill while traveling to a gig in Memphis. After Rick received hospital treatment, the rapper boarded another flight, which then had to make another emergency landing after he had another seizure.

However Rick went on to tell BET Show 106 and Park that his tests for HIV, diabetes and cancer had shown he was ‘totally healthy’

Ross seems to be taking doctors orders very seriously by saying “I’m just gonna make sure I get me some naps here and there. I’m gonna get my sleep in,” in true rapper style.

The star’s next album, God Forgives, I Don’t, is due for release on 13 December.
